A cobbled street,
Laid with care and attention,
Each stone picked,
To match the one next to it.
Built centuries ago,
By some expert hand,
And trod by many, many feet.
Exqusite, perfect,
Straight as straight,
And leading to some indeterminate destination,
Through the trees,
A road that I wish to follow….

I enjoy a cobble stone street when I explore a new tow or village. Mexico is filled with them and they continue to build them today. The downtown area of Omaha, Naberska has some very well kept cobblestone streets. Thanks for the memories.
You are welcome William! I love them too! They are not much fun I. Wheelchairs though!
