If you dive near Flic en Flac,
You won’t want to venture back.
It has the island’s longest beach,
And a sandy reef just beyond reach.
It’s protected by the surrounding coral,
And here, dear reader, is the moral,
If you want a great view of the Indian Ocean,
Get your walking shoes into serious motion,
And if you want your curiosity piqued,
It’s in Mauritius’ Rivière Noire District.

Caro, I love your poem! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you Rosanne!
As sublime as ever darling, you are so brilliantly talented xx
Thank you my darling – so are you…
I want to be there now. The picture is gorgeous and the poem makes it sound divine 🙂
Thank you Kama!
What a wonderful looking beach, that for the moment is out of my reach.
It’s beautiful isn’t it?
