Looking out my window,
All I see are trees.
A gentle droop of elderflower,
Spatulate lime leaves.
I wake each day to birdsong,
Robin, thrush and tit.
And I lie here marvelling,
At the joy of it.
How can I be in London?
Is what I think each day,
The gentle hum of traffic
All that gives the game away.
