This is a Seth Snap ‘My Story’
Well, you could all knock me down with a feather,
We’ve recently seen a change in the weather,
The winter’s gone, it is getting warm,
Ideal conditions for the perfect storm.
Cumulonimbus in a giant flume,
Deliver a feeling of dread and gloom.
The clouds are building in a dense, dark block,
Methinks we are in for a nasty shock!
Let’s face it, we’ll be like lambs to the slaughter,
Rain will descend like daggers of water,
The tempest’s coming, mark me well,
‘Cause this one won’t be a bagatelle!
Protect your family! Be a bright spark!
Go build yourself a Noah’s ark!
Love the poem, but I do hope you are wrong……
Me too!
I hope your 40 days come up short by almost three fortnights…
Me too!
Great poem – some amazing words!!
Thanks
We are experiences years of drought. A storm is always welcome in Texas. Yes, even the ones that get too enthusiastic. Cool poem. I liked the image of “in for a nasty shock.” It was used in such a unique way.
Thanks Ann
Say it ain’t so…. LIke the poem, though. Perhaps the Weather Channel needs a poet laureate.
Haha Carol!
Who knows Alessa!
A wonderful poem… definitely is how it feels before the threat of a nasty storm!
Thanks Suerae!
I hope that you are wrong! It is so nice right now that i simply can’t think of a storm right now. Not now!
Don’t worry, that storm is hovering over the USA!
