Home is where my heart resides,
The walls live and breathe real love,
Within, a sense of peace abides,
This house ‘fits’ you like a glove.
Knock, then walk through our front door,
There’s a potent sense of calm,
It draws you in, makes you long for more,
Seduces with its charm.
I have never known a house so ‘right’,
As if the world’s been forged anew,
It is full of laughter, full of light,
Above all else, it’s full of you.

It’s absolutely beautiful our home, this is so very beautiful. Thank you with all my love xxx
Thank you my darling. It is the way I feel about our home and you…
Lovely poem, Caro.
Thank you so much Paris.
Beautiful poem Caro! I love the part about being full of light and full of you.
Thank you!
I may have just had a little tear…
Awww, thanks Adele!
So you think our home,
From which we roam,
Is full of love,
Fits you like a glove,
Because of who is in it,
Now, wait just one minute,
It’s because of what YOU put in it!
…that too…
This sounds heavenly….and a lot like my home, too!! I feel blessed each day I wake up there! Your words cheer me today!
I am glad of it…
Very heartfelt. Beautiful.
Thank you Sue!
This makes me want to come visit you. I just love the front door. And I love the love you share. Plus Roy is right, your home is full of love because of you.
And the extraordinary person I love!
Nice way to start the day with such a lovely, welcoming poem. This balances out some of the headlines we’ve been reading and reminds me, oh dear, but yes, ‘there’s no place like home!’
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it.
Well, it looks like we are on the same page here…I am very pleased to be in my new home too. Somehow, it just feels right. Lovely door, by the way!
We are!
What a charming post ! Love, peace and the smell of freshly baked cake !
Thank you! I am a sucker for freshly baked bread…
Absolutely beautiful. You can just feel the peace of your home.
Thank you, you will have to come and experience it, if you come to London!
Thank you! You will have to come and experience it, if you come to London!
Before I even read the first comment I knew 🙂 x
Oh dear! I am found out!
