Some of you know that I love good food,
It lifts my spirits, puts me in a good mood,
So I am delighted to find this new site,
It makes me anticipate my very next bite.
The author’s a culinary student at Leith’s,
She goes to a show, then dines at La Caprice,
She gives us a butchery master class,
Her hols in Ibiza require a full cocktail glass.
Should your salami be peppered or not?
And if you’re thirsty, she’ll spice your hot choc,
On a cookery assignment she makes Guinness bread,
Short of a pudding? Use leftovers instead!
She glamps in the Lake District, stays in a yurt,
Her tiramisu’s a scrumptious dessert.
She reviews favourite restaurants – I’m anxious for more,
Foodies take note! Beat a path to her door!
I love good food too! The thing is, I used to be able to eat everything I wanted. Now, I seem to put on weight when I look at chocolate. Not nice. Lovely poem.
Thank you. And I know the feeling!
This is great, I almost wish I were still active in the profession, I miss a lot that, but for the moment the memory returns. And Black Pepper (tiellicherry) is my number one spice so I like the website heading. Thank you for so elegantly revealing this culinary artist.
Great poem and I love the title of the website. It comes from a song “Mama, Yo Quiero.” I tried to post this once and I got kicked out. Hope this one goes through.
Glad you enjoy this as much as me…
This is a fun, tantalizing hook for another great-sounding blog. I’ll have to check it out. You “done good” Caro!
It IS fun! You will love it!
A new place to visit! And wonderfully done as always, Caro!
It really good fun! You will love it! Enjoy!
Great post as always! Must take a look at the site. Thank you!
You are welcome!

Indeedy my love! Have you seen the food magazine on my FB page too?!
Thank you Ann for sharing on FB and Twitter…
It’s so nice to find out what other people are cooking up! I’d like to see her restaurant reviews.
