I too love cooking. I have always been cooking with no recipes, but rather with cooking books a sinspiration. This is why now I feel it is quite a challenge to share my cooking wih others, but also loving doing just that. I think growing up with a mother who always cooked with whatever was in the house and whatever might be left over from yesterday, I learned to try, taste, mix and most of the times it turnes out great and sometimes really bad. A bit like life it self! 🙂 Thank you for the beautiful picture. It mademe want to cook something new today!
Oh I really like this! My daughter and I were just talking about this over the holidays. We talked about the different ways people are creative and that for some, food is part of their art. I’m definitely a bit of this and that kind of cook. I love time in the kitchen – the smells, the tastes – all of it. My daughter on the other hand is more exacting. Consequently, we realized that is why she is drawn to baking and is so much more proficient at it than I am. A more exact approach is needed there. It gave us an opportunity to celebrate our individual approaches and appreciate the processes themselves as self expression. I’ll send this to her and she’ll get a chuckle!

Thanks Kathi, I hope your daughter approves!
I love the shape of the words and how it evokes thoughts of a container for exotic spices 🙂
Thank you! Mission accomplished!
woooo you cook like I do! YUM!
The only way, huh?
Flavor is a timeless alchemy 🙂 Anyone who has ever cooked sugar and seen its many faces cannot deny that somehow, it is all because of magic.
I agree…obviously!
Love this picture of the colourful food. Lovely.
