20130819-052906.jpgWhat is it about the saxophone,
That makes my taste buds tingle?
Is it the sexiness of tone,
That makes my nerve-ends jingle?
That music activates my spine,
In little waves of bliss,
It is an instrument divine,
There’s nowt as good as this!
There is a kind of huskiness,
That makes your senses roil,
A delicious kind of muskiness,
Like a sensual massage oil.
There’s an urgent, plangent message,
Here, that makes my muscles hum,
It’s a delicious presage,
Of some wondrous things to come.
Like the gorgeous Sugar Cane,
It gives me a case of goosebumps,
The music just invades my brain,
And my heartbeat jumps.
I’ve a penchant for the saxophone,
It’s an instrument apart,
It’s a woodwind to which I’m prone,
It speaks straight to my heart.
